Inbound Students Hosted in US
US Students will need to be at the COHO Terminal in Port Angeles  in time to catch the 8:00AM departure to Victoria.  Details to follow  All US side students must have their passports, Canadian visa for required countries and the "Certificate of Eligibility for Exchange Visitor (J-1) Status" form (This has replaced the old IAP-66 Form).  No students will be allowed on the ferry without these documents.

Inbound Students Hosted in Canada
Canadian students will be picked up by bus at various locations as the bus works its way up-island and delivered to Comox Valley in time for Check-In. 

Departure:

Canadian and US hosted students will begin their return Sunday. (see Bus Schedule to follow)
US hosted students will return on the Coho departing Victoria - arriving in Port Angeles at 3:30PMPM.(see Bus Schedule to follow)

Itinerary:

Wednesday, Feb.11/09 - trip up to Courtenay, quad club dinner with the                     - students at the Westerley Hotel.

Thursday, Feb.12/09 - trip to Powell River

Friday, Feb.13/09 - skiing at Mount Washington (many, many feet of snow) – Information required to Ken Snyder ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) by Feb 6, 2009. (email sent to students)

 Saturday, Feb.14/09 - lunch & entertainment at Comox Big House, Orientation & dance Saturday night.

Sunday, Feb.15/09 - return home.

Please Bring:

• **US Your Passport and Visa.  US students bring DS-2019-J1
• ** Valid Canadian Visitor's visa for students from the following countries:  Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Hungary, India, Peru, Poland, Slovak Republic, Taiwan, Thailand and Venezuela.
• Casual clothing:  jeans, sweatshirts, athletic shoes
• Blazer, shirts with a collar and dress pants for boys and dress pants or skirts for girls for the Talent Show & Dinner NO JEANS or Tennis Shoes!
• Warm jacket, ski clothing, small backpack
• US Students – Do not bring skis or snowboards
• Personal funds for purchases (Students will have opportunities to buy small items during the stay)
• Cameras (There is much to see and ample photo opportunities)
• Swim Suit
• Thank you cards or small gifts for your Comox Valley Host Family.

Meals:

All meals will be provided by host families and Rotarians in the Comox Valley.  If student requires a special diet, please note on the registration form.

Quarters:

Students will be home hosted by Comox Valley Rotarians

Talent Show:

Students will provide a Talent Show for all Comox Valley Rotarians. 

Cost:

The total cost per student is:  $260.00 CDN or $260.00 US.  Costs should be paid by the Hosting Rotary Club.
